Dee Dee and Gypsy Rose Blanchard epitomised the triumph of human spirit over adversity. So when a vulgar message implying someone was dead appeared on Facebook in 2015, friends and neighbours were perplexed - was it a joke or something more sinister?

Structured as a thriller, the feature length documentary charts the cause and effect of an act that ricocheted through the local community and beyond, examining the actions of its central characters, whilst sensitively exploring the impact on the people closest to them. 

The score blends warped pianos with understated synths, weaving its way through the film’s 90 minutes.
