THEATRE

Angus has composed scores for Olivier Award winning productions, with recent work performed across London, New York and beyond.

Recent credits include shows at acclaimed venues including the National Theatre, Almeida Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Trafalgar Studios, Soho Theatre and many more.

Particular highlights include the Prologue to Cabaret, a 70-minute immersive piece for four live musicians and five dancers, which precedes the critically acclaimed musical. Currently in its third year in the West End, the production premiered on Broadway in Spring 2024.

Collaborations with director Rebecca Frecknall include A Streetcar Named Desire, featuring a live onstage percussionist, and Summer and Smoke, scored for 9 upright pianos surrounding the stage. Both shows transferred to the West End after sold out runs at London’s Almeida Theatre and went on to win Olivier Awards for Best Revival.
